From Promise to Practice: What Budget 2025 Means for Financial Inclusion As the new Autumn Budget lands, the government has made some bold moves, and some…
The Angels Connect model has been shaped by decades of experience within our team, working alongside communities, supporting people through difficult circumstances, and helping them access the support they need to thrive.
Angels Connect equips trusted members of any community to identify needs, provide appropriate guidance, and connect people with the specialist support, services, and opportunities available to them.
Through Angels Connect, individuals and organisations are equipped, enabled, and empowered to support people from the point at which a need is identified, through to meaningful connection with the resources, expertise, and relationships that can help bring about lasting change.
Our web-based training platform and regularly updated resources portal are available through an annual subscription, helping organisations build local networks of informed and connected community champions. We can also support organisations to develop relationships with relevant local services and partners where these connections do not already exist.
We believe that access to life-changing support should not depend on knowing where to turn, who to ask, or how to navigate complex systems. Our mission is to make support easier to access by placing trusted connections at the heart of every community.
If you’d like to learn more about Angels Connect, explore partnership opportunities, or discuss how the model could work in your community, we’d love to hear from you.
Money Angels can be any one in any setting who are trained to have guided, intentional conversations in community spaces with those identified as in need of support. Money Angels can connect people directly to the technical support (debt and benefits advisors) in an advice setting. This connection to the specialists supports our commitment to compliance and excellence when it comes to the provision of specialists support for those requiring debt advice, advice with welfare benefits, and any referrals to additional support services as required.
Our web-based training comprises of a 30-minute training video (broken down into bitesize chapters) and a short multiple choice quiz based on the video content. The training has been developed by qualified practitioners and is regularly reviewed. This resource has been designed to be user-friendly and accessible to anyone who wishes to increase their knowledge so that they can give specified guidance to those going through a tough time with their finances.
The resources portal is regularly updated with fact-sheets and third party resources. As a Money Angel you will be encouraged via our social networking platform "Angels Connect' to check the portal each time a new resource is published.
All Money Angels will be given access to a simple referral form that will be bespoke to the community and money advice service that they are working with. We can work with advice services to ensure that locality relevant data is collected at the point a referral is made by a Money Angel.
